Drop-in to our dune den for a range of wildlife and craft activities for all of the family to enjoy.
Learn about your wonderful sand dunes and coastal wildlife, make dune dragons, explore the wildflowers, go on a bug hunt and more!
On Thursday we will be carrying out the next phase of habitat restoration at Beckfoot Quaker Burial Ground. This will include collecting cuttings of grass to remove excess nutrients from the ground. This creates the right environment, in the sward, for wildflowers to thrive. We will also plant some native Cumbrian plug plants.

Get active taking part in the Big Buzz plant! The Big Buzz! National Pollinator Conference and Fringe 2022 is the UK biggest gathering of pollinator enthusiasts and professionals, organised and hosted by our Get Cumbria Buzzing! Pollinators project. As part of the festival we are holding a big planting event along with activities such species ID sessions and bee hive making at Allonby Greens.

On Thursday we will be carrying out the final phase of the planting for pollinator projects. Collecting grass cuttings and planting rare native Cumbrian plug plants.
Bring: Lunch and drink, clothes and footwear suitable for task and expected weather

Halloween Lantern craft and walk with the Solway Coast NL and Cumbria Wildlife Trust
